The Pinellas Tax Collector Website Has a New Look, New Address
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Pinellas County Tax Collector, Charles W. Thomas, rolled out a new website today, Wednesday, May 25th. Not only does it have a new look, but also a brand-new address too. The long-standing pinellastaxcollector.gov site migrated to a .gov domain, pinellastaxcollector.gov.
The modern makeover offers an updated customer experience through easy navigation, various self-service options, and a wealth of information educating the public about the various services offered by the tax collector’s office. The website aims to inform new and existing Pinellas residents about property taxes, driver licenses, and motor vehicle requirements in a simple, streamlined manner.
The site also features a new virtual service center where customers can pay property taxes, renew their license and registration, surrender a license plate, and more. The online service center also guides customers to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle’s (FLHSMV) MyDMV Portal which offers additional online services related to driver licenses and registrations.
“Our new-and-improved website is user-friendly and gives our customers many convenient ways to complete transactions online,” Pinellas County Tax Collector, Charles W. Thomas said, “This update supports our vision of customer-focused excellence, and I am excited for our residents to start using it. Transitioning to a .gov domain also adds an extra layer of security for the organization and lets our customers know they are on a genuine governmental website.”
Visitors to the new site will also find information about the tax collector offices’ career opportunities, community involvement, and other office updates.
Becoming a “.gov” domain means the site is more secure and is less likely to be confused with other, potentially illegitimate, websites. It is the top-level domain for U.S.-based government organizations.
